JBD caused failed injector?

So I put a JBD on my 2010 335d it has about 78k miles and I had set at 60% (stock setting) for majority of my driving but here and there I would et it at around 90% to have some fun. This week my check engine light came on and my car has been misfiring and took it in and now has a failed injector. Has anyone else experienced this? Is the JBD at fault?

Just my opinion. The jbd raises fuel rail pressure that will cause increased wear on the injectors. It's most likely that your injector was about to fail anyway and the increased rail pressure from the jbd just pushed it over the edge.

Lots of people have been running them for 50k+ miles with no issue.

It's the old saying gotta pay to play

Called BMW found out I have a 100k warranty on the car and got it fixed for little too no cost, with out the warranty it would of ran me about $1500... Il look into getting my carbon cleaned and il throw the jbd back on and take it easy

Lucky. I almost out of pocketed my CBU cleaning. Found out that CarMax will cover it because its under 30 days since i bought mine. I figured anything emissions related without a CEL would be on me. I was as surprised as you were.

Great!

I really wouldn't worry about the jbd, the injectors on these cars fail on completely stock cars too.
