E92 Fitment Advice
All,
I was wondering if you wheel guru's could help me out. I just got myself a E92 328i. I'm loving it so far. I'm in the market for some wheels, but I'm having a hard time deciding as far as sizing goes. I found a set of 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 wheels. I'm not wanting do any stretch or camber. The car will be lowered on KW coils next week also. So, would it be possible to run these sizes? I know I'll have to roll my rears. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

At rear you have more room to play with offset. With like et35ish you could fit 275/30/19 with fender roll. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...6&postcount=13 It's kinda hard to fit aggressive wheels without stretch or camber especially to front.

In the rear camber makes a big difference 10"et25 can be flush but so can 11"et20. Camber can be anywhere from -1.4 to -3 and still be in spec. For me 11"et28 is flush at -1.9 camber. I have very little wear on my rear tires and I've probably put 20,000 miles on them already. My front tires have a little bit of wear on the inside after about 15000 miles. I am going to flip the tires so they wear more evenly but they still have plenty of tread left. The front is wearing out faster than the rear most likely from turning. I usually buy tires by the pair so it doesn't matter to me that I have to replace the fronts earlier. Last edited by bmw325i; 05-17-2015 at 02:32 AM.. |

But then again here is an e92 et33 with 245/35/19 Michelin PSS. I doubt 3mm will make much of a difference especially if its a tire that doesn't run as wide. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=679925&page=2 Personally I would go with more stretch as well, but thats just because I want more poke and more low than I did when I got tires. |

Go with 9"et30 up front. That is about 5mm from flush. If you want it to be flush or poke you will need some stretch. If you are getting Forgestars I would go with a 9.5 front wheel so it is more concave.

Thank you so much sir. That pretty much answered it for me. I'll wait until I get the KW's and then go from there. As long as I can avoid any extra camber, more than stock, I'll be okay. |
