Yes E90s come with isofix and top teather ,save your money IMO on branded BMW ones.

The full black recaros ones look better. have a look at the range http://www.recaro-seats.co.uk/child-seats/

I've had these two for my kids

Young Sport as its modular

and the Milano for the older one.

Looks pretty decent and offer great protection plus the full black means they dont stand out as much. These two where not isofix but they do other isofix ones. Some good deals on these on ebay and amazon resellers

another thumbs up for the Recaro young sport as they grow with the kid - we have one in each car and with any luck will be the last two kids seats we buy until he's on a booster / traditional seatbelt. We got the black ones too.

Are the car seats that go into the prams a waste of time?

No, any decent pram comes with a universal car seat that you can take out and put in the car which is easier.
And they have to be in that until they are big enough to support themselves, then they can go in a proper upright car seat.

Thanks Tom, im new to all of this! Will need to invest in a pram with an isofix car seat theb. Those recaro ones look good but not sure if the car seats can be fitted into the pram.

Garage List
I've got the Recaro Young Sport - make sure you get a seat protector to protector your seat - especially if it's leather.

The above car seats do not fit into prams. For prams you will need a something like a Maxi-Cosi pebble seat which for new born babies and babies up to 1 year or up to a certain weight.

We used a maxi cosi pebble for about 7 months with my daughter then bought a Recaro Young Sport for her to use.
