Handbrake Light Never Turns On

I replaced my pads/rotors the other day and while I had the rear rotors off I took some time to adjust the parking brake. Both adjustment screws were backed off all the way and stuck (I needed channel locks to start them turning). I got them both adjusted properly after that but I noticed that the "BRAKE" light in the dash no longer comes on when I pull up the handbrake. Since the light is controlled off of the handle, I pulled off the handle boot and I can see the spring/switch is actuating properly but I didn't have my multimeter on me to check voltage.

Anyone seen this before? Got an hints where to look for a loose connection?

Well that was easy. There is a small pin that goes through the copper contact switch which had somehow worked its way out. It is only held in place with the light spring pressure of the copper coil. I did need to partially remove the center console to get to it.
