wagner thermoquiet pads leaving rust ring near hub on rotors??

hey guys,

I just did a front brake job on my car a few weeks ago and I'm noticing that there is a rust ring (on both front rotors)

I'm using PerfectStop rotors and Wagner thermo quiet pads

is this acceptable or did I get the wrong pads?

This is normal, the rust will turn black with time and dirt and not remain as visible.

I figured it might be because the oem rotors have a "floating" design
