Does a line level converter diminish the tapped speakers?
I just added a 10" sub and aftermarket amp to a E90 with the HIFI system. I pulled signal from the factory sub out at the OEM amp. I took the time to pull out the connection pins from the harness, and soldered the leads from the level converter. I was less than impressed with what the new sub added, so I unplugged it, and it seems the OEM subs are hardly responding. Is the added signal draw killing them? Should I have tapped the rear mids??
