Adding center channel to XD600/6
I have a Hifi system and replaced the stock AMP with XD600/6v2. Is there a way to add center channel? If so, how is this connected at the AMP? I see technic mentioning something about CDT CS-256 but not much details there on this forum http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...0#post16131350 in the very end of first post.
Any suggestions? Should I connect the center channel in parallel with one of the fronts? or do I put the fronts and center in serial and bridge the front channels at the XD600? |

I guess my first question is going to be; "Why?"
Your music isn't recorded with a center channel in mind. There's no center channel signal coming from the head unit. Unless I missed that you installed a dolby prologic video system in your car... |

Given all the audio experts are questioning this, it doesnt makes sense to add a center channel without a surround decode, i guess. Thanks for killing the idea

If you really want to spend the money, get something like a Helix DSP and a proper installer to tune the sytem.
They can create the "illusion" of a center channel by properly delaying the left and right sides so that it sounds as if you're getting the information from the "center" |
