bmw professional cd radio with bluetooth
can anyone confirm what is needed for the retro fit of the Bluetooth version of the bmw professional radio/cd player, as a lot of sellers of this head unit say its stand alone ! is this the case or do you need loom, module, aerial etc

RAD2+ professional radio/cd player has bluetooth integrated. If you have it - you are in luck as most units on the market do not have bluetooth built-in. External module (MULF2-HI or TCU) is required + loom. You need arial regardless unless yours is prewired, but that's easy part.

If you locate the right one
If you locate the right one it can need some fancy programming to
install on an older car. See the guy in the following thread for details in England. Yes antenna's and microphone if you don't have one and maybe if you do. (plus cables for the above if necessary) http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=704363 Makkann00 can pre code the unit to your car. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1048129 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=687463 Last edited by ctuna; 08-26-2015 at 12:40 PM.. |

Better talk to Makkan00.
He sometimes has them for sale and can help with the setup which is something that can be hard to find. He can make sure you get the right one . |

all the parts you might need are in the thread linked below, specifically the post linked below. note that I have listed US spec; and since you use funny words like "loom" instead of "harness" your HU part number will be different (See first post in thread) but others should be same.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=313 note i have very limited connectivity so I wont be able to answer follow up questions most likely. |
