probably need to send technic messages on here, via smoke signals, and carrier pigeon until you actually get a response.

I think his harnesses are system specific
The first on is the Hi Fi harness which attaches at the amp connector
for the stock hi fi system . There is not such thing as an XD kit harness though the first one is regraded as such. It works as a signal router for anything you want to put in the stock Hi Fi amp location. The base harness hooks behind the radio an there seem to be more than one type for that system . Runs wires to the back for amps. then there is the L7 add a sub harness . |

Well it looks like he is making some progress
Well it looks like he is making some progress
on the site . But if you go to products and click on them its still not quite there. Why are those two pictures identical? Also says it will work with any amp that comes with balanced differential inputs. Last edited by ctuna; 10-12-2015 at 11:36 PM.. |

looks like the XD kit comes with the OEM 12V Battery slot connector (to power an amp)so that you don't need to source it yourself.

Hi guys,
I was wondering if you could provide me with some information in regards to installing an amp and sub into my car. I drive a 2012 bmw 335i coupe so an e92 and it is the executive edition so it has the navigation and harman kardon premium sound system. The subs I have are dual JL 10 inch subs(CP210W0V3) and a JL mono amp rated at 500W. The factory subs I know are underneath the backseats. I had an installer try to install the system for me and he used the L2CI as a line level converter. When it was all done, the subs would cut in and out and they would only work properly if the volume was turned up really loud. At low volumes they would cut out. The L2CI doesn't seem to be working. Do you know what we are doing wrong? Also is Technic's harness required for this to work? Please let me know because I really want to get these subs going Thanks! |

The factory subs as you call them are
The factory subs as you call them are under the front seats.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...2&d=1266451970 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=352586 You wouldn't need an LCI with his add a sub harness. From what you are describing I am wondering if your installer disconnected the underseats? Not many shops know how to do a BMW correctly. subwoofer threads http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...2&postcount=66 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...t=Ultimate+Sub http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=subwoofer http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=581166 Last edited by ctuna; 10-26-2015 at 05:54 PM.. |
