Hi

My key fob decided to stop working suddenly, tried my spare and its the same. I've checked all the fuses and they are fine, the central locking works using the button inside and with the key.

When I first started the car after it hadn't unlocked using the fob all my settings had been lost, radio etc

Car is an E91 pre LCI with idrive, so I have been told it is likely to be the antenna diversity.

Would there be any other symptoms if it was this part, as fm,am,DAB all work, and everything else electric on the boot lid works too?

Does anybody know if the E70 module will work in the E91?

when you say button inside what you mean? why dont you try changing the battery on the key? they are about a couple of quid off ebay and take seconds to change
