BSD interface fault
I've got 2 fault codes logged on my E91 330d that I've cleared but come back. They are:
4A07: Alternator. No communication via BSD interface. 4A27: Intelligent battery sensor, communication. No communication via BSD interface. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing these faults? My aux water pump is also faulty. |

Have a read at this, it won't answer your question but may help you understand the problem better:

Thanks. That's interesting because when I got the car it was showing the IBS fault but not the alternator fault. It was also showing an oil sensor fault.
When I removed the undertray it looked like a mouse had chewed through all 3 wires for the oil sensor. I repaired the wiring and cleared the faults. The oil sensor fault cleared but now I have this alternator fault. Maybe the mice have managed to chew through something else! |
