Ive had my e92 done by Mstyle and my previous A5 was done by Celtic tuning. Have a look at their website www.celtictuning.co.uk

Sounds interesting, let us know the results when you find a place.

Out of interest which exhaust system do you have that decats the N53? And is it still okay for MOT/emissions etc?

Cheers

I got the armaspeed manifolds direct from Taiwan, the only RHD ones (that i found) available.

My plan is to get it mapped with these on and then use high flow cats / 335i secondary cats that are flanged to put on come MOT time.
I know a garage that will do it without the cats but its not local.

I will post up pics and results when done

Recently read a thread with a 335i that passed with just secondarys so I have my fingers crossed.

I dont think it will pass fully decat

Stick some sport cats in. There will be no difference in power, and it removes all the MOT hassle.

Will post results etc when done, looking around mid Feb.

Hi Dopeslope, I take it you had no luck here...?

I hope you don't mind me ressurecting this thread. I too am looking for a N53 remap in light of high flow cats.

Map tech in Lincoln I believe could remap without cats

What are going to do about EGR? All the n52 manifolds don’t have egr - that’s as far as I got looking at this.

Hi.

I'm looking to remap my 325i N53B30 and would appreciate any advice.

Should I get a custom made manifold/cats prior to remapping?

Are there going to be problems with MOTs after that?

Are there any recommended places for the remap in/around London with experience doing N53 remaps? I've seen MapTech mentioned a few times but it's a little far.

Thanks

Talk to BWchiptune in Hayes. They’ll let you know what needs doing and if it’s worth the hassle come MoT.
