Well I installed the UR CAI in the car along with the Forge diverter valves...The DVs were installed without a hitch, I just had to cut about two inches from the front hose to make it fit perfect without the DVs touching each other at all...The UR cai was a another story...It turns out that the brace that needs to be removed is not the same as the E92, in fact it was one piece that was connected to the other side of the fender...I had to modify it a little by cutting it before the bolt in...The brace I repeat "must be taken off for the CAI to fit!!!" There is no way around it whatsover..Its a really really tight fit, but Darrly was right, there is no cutting whatsover of the fender lining...Every screw went back into place and there is no bulge in the fender lining...Other that the brace problem I had for the E93, it was easy install after that...The CAI fit nicely with the Forge DV's, in fact it compliments each other...I have seen other CAI and from what i have seen it covers the DVs, so its a minus in my book because they look so good and should be seen...

After the I went for a ride...HOLY SHIT...Power is definately increase from my butt dyno as well as the car ripping in almost every gear...Everytime I WOT the car lifted from the front end and the tires release their grip on the road..
I don't know which one is producing what power gains but the both
of them together is a perfect match, the car car soooo much faster, that its amazing...The air suction noise is not as loud as everyone is saying...Its has a very nice sound to it along with the DV's....These two things has transform what I thought was a fast car with V2, but now its even faster and the throttle response is so responsive compared to before I installed the DVs...I used the yellow springs instead of the green ones...For those of you who are thinking about pulling the trigger on these mods, its worth every penny...Here are some pics for you to enjoy!!

Welcome to the club. By this statement "Everytime I WOT the car lifted from the front end and the tires release their grip on the road" I assume you experience the wonderful reduction in steering response while flooring it in lower gears? Sometimes it gets a little squirrely when you're trying to keep it straight and the back tires have traction.

CONGRATS!!! you made it fit the e93...great going. Sounds like you gained ALOT of performance. I cannot wait myself, I have both the DVs and the UR cai waiting for my install.

I was really worried about this different brace on our cars. In your above statment, kindly calarify:
1/ after removing the brace for cai install, you cannot put it back after install correct?
2/ do you mean that you just cut the brace off (as opposed to unbolting it)
when you said you had to modify it?

Lastly, I am semi skilled. Install DVs = 1.5 hours?? and CAI = 2 hours??
How long do you think it will take me to do both the forge DVs and the UR cai in one day?

It is very good for me to know about this exact upgrades since I am going the same direction as you are right now. I have an e92 v2, waiting for my Riss Racing dp and just about to pull the triger on those same two mods you just installed. I was just worried about the execive sound, that is why Im going to leave my stock catback. Are you still running a stock exhaust?? What about your TQ settings on your v2??

Midlife..I tried to leave it in the bent position, but there is no clearance to juggle that enormous piping into place to make it fit, so it had to be cleared...I was going to cut the brace, but opted to bend it back and forth until the brace came off near the bolt screw as you can see from my fourth picture...The remaining brace thats connected to the other side of the fender is still intact and there is no visible harm to the structure of the brace...You cannot unbolt that bottom nut because it acted as a tension for me to bend the brace back and forth until it eventually broke off...You can use another method to cut it besides what i did but that piece has to be taken off regardless. In my situation, I realized when i bent it yesterday I had to cut it at the benting point but it was to close to the bolt and I couldn't get anything close to that bend point so thats why I did it that way!!! I cannot use the original brace obviously, but I think I can buy a E92 brace and just overlapp the bottom bolt and it should fit and connect back to the fender like the E92 would...I am not worried about this!! If your going with the CAI and the DV's installed together, boy you are in for a great surprise when you first take it out!! And this is no JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!Its crazy fast now....and the throttle response when you take your foot off the pedal and hit it again is amazing!!! What a difference! Good luck with your install if you decide to go ahead and cut that brace...I think its worth it weight in gold!

You know what Ocha, I have the V2 for a while and it never felt so light on its feet until I installed these two mods!!! I am being honest about that too!! Its unbelievable...I could just imagine all my mods with catless DP's what it would feel like....HOLY SHIT

I have V2 settings at 94%...CP-E catback exhaust along with the CAI and DV's
I can imagine if I would get some DP's!!!!

Well the good part is the DV's and the Cai require you to do almost the same thing, which is to take out the airbox...I would also take out the stuff like the V2 install except don't need to mess with the ECU...This clears things up alot for an easy install of the DVs..The fender is easy as long as you take out each bolt out...I don't remember how many but there in the fender and also underneath the bumper!!! Once its removed, the the hardest part is to take out that cover for the "Ram air" You have to really really pry it to get it loose!!! The other hard part for us is that damn brace!!! Other than that it could have taken me about 2 and half hours!! But I took my time and did the install a little at a time because I had to wait for that damn CAI to be delivered!! You should be okay as long as those two things get taken cared off!!! Everything else is by the book!! Oh yeah the front hose of the DV's that forge supplied which is the short one, needs to be shorten by 2 inches to ensure that the dv's are not touching and there is no tension!!! I would do it if I were you!

Btw, i already have the UR catless dps, you are gonna love them (or the Riss DPs) also.
I do not know if it is possible after the 2 mods you just installed, but my catless DPs improved my throttle response by about 35%.

I don't have the DP's as of yet, but when Shiv is usually quiet, there is something thats coming out right around the corner!! I too am waiting to see whats going on!!!
