As I have given my 335 to my 19 year old daughter, I want to try and maximize fuel economy rather than power.
Currently she's got AR catless DP's, Helix stepped intercooler and a Procede V3 Rev 2.
Also, it's running full catless, because I installed an IPE 3" full flow adjustable exhaust.
The Procede is required, because of the catless DP's.
She (my daughter) only runs map 0; she's not interested in going fast, it's the convertible that she's interested in.

Should I go back to stock? I kind of worked out by the time I pay someone to take all the bits out and sell them, I might break even, so I haven't bothered.

So, anyone know what could be done to make it use less gas?

If it was my daughter it would be back to bone stock, for her safety, the cars longevity, stop her getting speeding tickets and make money back on the bits.

Part out, sell it and buy her a 325i. You'll have extra money, save on maintenance costs and insurance will be much, much cheaper

Yeah, I say de-mod. You could have somebody try and whip up an economy mode map or stock boost e85 map for a Cobb or something, but then you have to worry about her using the right gas every time. No offense, just saying.

Just keep it in Map 0, I don't see the concern. You've work hard to get it to that point. Leave it as is l, it's not like it's a gas hog anyways. But maybe one our I house tuners like MHD or Borq can do something with it, maybe they'll chime in. Can you adopt me please!! Your a sweet dad. Lol

Because it's cheap enough to offset the reduced mpg. Well, normally. I haven't priced it since oil prices s**t the bed.

They say your mental state can move your MPG as much as 30%. Teach her how to hyper mile. It would go a lot further then trying to alter the map and lean it out for MPG. These cars run pretty lean from the factory since it's a direct injection motor. I'd sooner remove the catless downpipe.

That does make sense, except that I had only done about 22,000km and it's in such good condition that I didn't want to get rid of it just yet.

Maybe going back to stock is the way to go...

Interestingly when I was driving around on map 2, I was getting 17l / 100km, or 13mpg.
I drive the M4 harder around the same streets and now get 11/100 or 21mpg.

V8bait made a pump gas and e85 fuel economy tune for me when we went FBO on my car, and I used it for the drive to TX and back. Not much to say, I didn't track the numbers after the first tank but I did 32mpg cruising at 84mph actual (6MT).

Main thing I noticed was the car sounded a lot better (Wide open wastegates), and felt about like a E46 325, maybe a bit worse, I'd guess we were sitting at 180hp or so. Enough to daily drive on of course, but lacked power everywhere compared to the 35. Also, flashing took 21min because of the load by gear and other differences.
