A mate has had is 6 month old F30 clonked in a car park, and it's chipped the paintwork right on the door coachline. Not a massive chip and 1-2mm, but enough to piss him off - and rightly so.

Can anyone recommend someone who could sort it out without wanting to respray the whole door, for obvious reasons?

The point is, the car is only a few months old and understandably, he wants to keep as much of the paintwork as possible original, hence a localised repair is preferable.

Have him get a quote from a BMW dealer with a paint shop as they do localised chips away style scratch/chip jobs (Think it was £180/200 when i saw it advertised at coopers in colchester when I bought my car) and their work comes with the usual BMW gurantees chips away are totally hit and miss some are good some are shocking but the paint thye use isnt the same as that with a proper spray shop (health and safety and faster drying times for mobile ease)
