JB4 two step NLS issue - with video

Hey guys,

I installed a 2 step/NLS relay from BMS a couple days ago. I really bought it for the NLS feature, not so much for the 2 step. NLS works as it is supposed to it seems, but the 2 step doesn't, which makes me think something is wrong with the way I wired it, or maybe the relay is bad?

See video below.

- I set the 2 step to 4500rpm in menu 8
- Put the car in 1st gear
- Pushed the clutch down all the way
- Gas pedal is to the floor from 6sec to 10sec in the video

If first bounces off 4k rpm, then spikes up to 5.5k, then oscillates b/w 3.5k and 4.5k

Has anyone seen this problem before?

You're the man! Thanks

From N54tech.com

G5_ISO_32_1

1) Reworked internal memory related to storage of dash calibrations to save space and allow more future dash options. If you're not a USA E9X then you'll need to reselect your dash option under menu5 for the in dash controls to line up properly.
2) Modified port injection integration logic to compensate for intake temperature differences and tip in enrichment logic.
3) Added support for VIN read only parameter.
4) Added support for 4bar TMAP sensor using "N20 TMAP" = 2 setting.
5) 32_1b: Corrected bug with 2STEP system.

I am currently running version 32, I'll update to the latest 32_2

Well... I updated the firmware to the latest version and it's still doing the same thing... Any ideas?

You did not update to the latest firmware. You updated to 32_2 whereas 32_5 is currently the latest firmware, the issue you are having was fixed in 32_4

G5_ISO_32_4

1) Additional work on 4bar logic. Added adaption algorithm to calibrate sensor each startup against MAP sensor.
2) Adjustment to 2STEP algorithm.
