Adjusting hand brake.

I can't get the little star wheel inside the parking brake to turn at all through the lug.

I didn't put the brake into service mode like pelican says but instead followed this guide..

A few people said a shop would adjust it for me cheap but called around and they all want to take the brake apart for big money.

If you cant turn the little star then it can be a problem. Try spraying something on it, may be seized.

If it is stuck, you are going to have to pull the rear rotors off first and free them up.

You can have some trouble doing that as the hand brake shoes will stop you from properly removing the rotor if the are stuck in a certain position.
