Install order for FBO mods?
Hey all,
I have a 2012 E92 and I'm looking to do the full range of mods. Is there a recommended order to do them in? I'm looking to space the cost out and know that some mods are reliant on others. From the reading I have done, I know I am doing a JB4 for sure. Feel free to throw me a link if there is a good guide out there that I missed. Thanks,

My mod order was intake (purely for sound) > jb4+charge pipe > intercooler > catless dp > meth. The only thing I'd change is getting two meth bungs instead of one.
I'm in Canada so the most we get is 94 at a pump, meth helps with that, although not recommended as a fuelling solution, I've taken my chances. |

From a performance stand point:
Charge pipe - JB4 - Downpipe - FMIC If you don't have ethanol available then you could put Meth in before the FMIC. After that PS2, cobb and fuel. |

I would say no matter what though the Charge Pipe should be #1, guys blow that thing on stock boost levels. Get rid of the weak link before you start pushing the car.

I would do
Tune Downpipe Intercooler Charge Pipe Intake Reason why I would not do the charge pipe first if I was you is because we are local to you. If the CP breaks we would provide one for you same day

My order was JB4, Intake, Chargepipe, Downpipe, Meth, Intercooler, Better tires.
If I were to do it again. JB4, Chargepipe (two meth bungs), Downpipe, Intercooler, Meth, Better tires. Next will either be a bigger turbo or a limited slip diff.

On our 94, yea just about, you can run more boost with less timing but I prefer to keep "avg ign" 0.5 or under. You can also run a bigger nozzle, but isn't recommended due to less atomization.
Pm if you have more questions! |

I know you have great service Mike, but are you going to deliver it to him on the side of the road?

We have delivered products locally at 1-2 am ... Delivering on the side of the road during business hours is not a problem

There's no correct order.
But my general rule is: Tune Intake Charge Pipe Intercooler Downpipes It's important for N55 to get the charge pipe with the intake IMO. |
