Literally the perfect way to end his career. I am a huge Laker and Kobe fan and thought I would be saddened by the departure. I am just thrilled I got to see classic Kobe one last time.

Didn't see the game, but was surprised by the 60 point outburst... On 50(!) shots.
One of the few, if not only, times where no one complained about Kobe not passing the ball.

Damm... 37 and drops 60 for the Kobe finally. Thanks Kobe for being the " Black Mamba." Loved the way you competed every night. You did it against the very best. Enjoy retirement, family, and life. Your one less headache for my Knicks. Thanks again.

couldn't have scripted that ending any better... not only scoring 60 but hitting the game winning clutch shots at the end to beat utah. The same team he airballed those shots against in his rookie year in the playoffs. way to come first circle on a legendary career.

It was an unbelievable game, I felt like we all got to see old school kobe for his final game. Brought all kinds of feels at the end. I'll remember this game for many years to come.

GREAT finish to his career dropping 60, when he didn't even want the ball any more.
I was just worried when Magic was licking his ear at center court. Can't the HIV virus transfer in spit????? "Really Vannessa, I got it from that last game when Magic licked my ear. Here's another 3 carats." |

That was pretty awesome, and I am a big Kobe fan. But I saw an incredible stat earlier today comparing the full year stats for Kobe in his last year vs Jordan's last year. Jordan averaged 7 more ppg, and 10% higher FG %...

People forget his dirty laundry so fast.
He's a great basketball player and a shitty guy most likely (not like I know him personally) and probably a criminal. He shot 50 times to score 60 against a team that knew they were done by around mid 3rd quarter. Fuck Kobe. |
