WTB: Rear Carbon Quad Diffuser for N54 e90

Looking to buy either a new or used rear carbon quad diffuser for my 07 e90 335i. Would also buy it in gloss black. Going to go for a quad exhaust set up and my m-sports one fitted at the moment is for a dual exhaust. Last option would be to cut the current one but if someone has one or knows of someone who sells, that would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Sam

Email Jason at Eurodiv he should have something that fits for around the same price. If not try Mars performance they have a good range of diffusers

Yea I emailed them today just asking if this M3 one would be able to attach to my 335i M-Sport rear bumper and it was a no go. Just wondering if there is a product out there that can just replace my carbon fiber diffuser at the back in order to allow a quad exhaust without buying a full m3 rear bumper.

Here is my diffuser for reference. I went with Gloss black. From memory it does require a bit of trimming of the existing bumper on the inside to fit nicely

I have the exact same one as you in the above photo. Would you know if you could just cut/modify this one in order to fit a quad exhaust? Otherwise I'll just order this one off eBay and install it myself, thank you for the advice btw

Should just be able to buy a quad diffuser to fit an m sport bumper afaik. Simple off the shelf item from Mars or Eurodivision unless I'm missing something here

I am not sure if you will get a nice finish if you try modifying a dual output diffuser and make it fit a quad exhaust. I suspect you are running a remus exhaust?

Did you say you already got a carbon diffuser dual output diffuser like my one? or are you running stock m-sport diffuser?

I'm going to take some photos of my rear bumper tonight, so you guys can tell me 100% the setup I'm running because now I'm doubting myself! I'll post them when I get home and if you guys could help out that would be wonderful!

lol no worries mate, this will assist.

1st Pic is a M-sport bumper with the factory plastic diffuser

2nd Pic is a NON M-sport bumper (notice it doesn't have a seperate plastic diffuser and is one piece)

Generally people running the M-sport bumper replace the plastic diffuser with a carbon fibre one for a more agressive look, be it dual or quad exhaust.

If you have the Non M-sport bumper then you can either cut the factory bumper for your quad exhaust setup (search for some pics online - I think you can get away with the finish) OR replace the rear bumper completely with the M-sport bumper + diffuser.

Hope that clarifies everything

I'm 90% sure that i'm running the M-sports with the plastic diffuser. If so im looking for a diffuser that will attach to the rear bumper that will allow for a quad exhaust set up. Here are some photos just in case im wrong!

Looks like m sport bumper to me. Plastic diffuser should just unclip and the CF diffuser clip back in its place

So you think that this ebay item will just clip in and replace the current plastic diffuser?

Yep looks like m-sport bumper. Just buy a carbon fibre quad exhaust diffuser and it should be a relatively easy install like socket has mentioned. I would suggest trying Euro division again and if that fails the ebay link I sent earlier should fit (just double check with the seller)

Contacted EuroDiv today and it doesnt seem like they have one. Next step is to contact the seller on ebay and take it from there. Thanks guys

Yeh that will be your safest best.

Also the diffuser you currently have installed is an aftermarket one. The one that comes from factory is in the first pic i attached in the thread above. Meaning your bumper has already been trimmed a little on the inside to attach these aftermarket style diffusers so when you purcahse the carbon fibre one off ebay should be a simple swap over.

good luck
