Inbuilt DSP Amps - Worth it?
Hi guys,
Go easy on me here. I'm looking to upgrade my base stereo in my e90 and have been researching vigorously for the past few weeks. Still not certain if I'll be going down the MB Quarts, Rockford Fosgate or Focal route. I want a system that looks 100% OEM but gives a decent sound. My SPL days are well behind me, but I still like something that kicks. Now my main question is do I really need a separate DSP (looking at the JL Fix-82), or can I just buy an amp with an inbuilt DSP? I've been looking at the Audison Prima AP4.9 bit. This would power the front components and the under seat mids / woofers. I assume the rears would be happy running off the HU amp? Any other options you feel I should be looking at, please let me know. Cheers all in advance, Ryan |
