ST XTA coilover front shock install hardware question
I'm installing ST XTA and I had bought all new hardware for front shock installs since the H&R coilover required them - shock mounts, spring pads and other miscellaneous parts. Now to my confusion, I'm seeing that perhaps I don't need them as I see no place for them to go. The ST install manual instructions is silent about this.
Is there anyone who has had ST XTA or KW equivalent installed? Could you please clarify? Thanks! |

Kw suspension tech clarified that the front shocks st-xta do not need any reuse of the oem hardware. Mounts, pads, washers, boots etc - all those not needed. Getting a couple of hundreds back when I return them. I thought they would be needed as the H&R coilovers the car had needed them.

I would say to to replace them. New Shocks & Struts on old rubber is not a good equation. Increase the chances of squeaks and knocking.
