How to reset FRM module from short circuit?
Hey guys, hoping this is the right sub forum for my problem. So my car apparently had a short to the FRM module (at least I believe that is what it's called). It caused a bunch of my taillights to go out so I have no DRLs, reverse, or brake lights on the inner taillights on my e90.
I have used the Schwaben scan tool to diagnose (a couple screenshots attached). Is it possible to 'reset' this in any way using the Schwaben (Foxwell)? Or do I need to replace the FRM? I am assuming simply clearing the codes will do nothing. Basically just want my taillights working again! Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you! If the actual short(s) are fixed, the FRM short circuits can be reset using a program called Tool32. You're correct, just clearing the codes won't do anything and they'll come right back.
We can clear the codes for you remotely, especially if you can get a KDCAN cable. |
