Tuning VFF900 bottom mount via Cobb
I just installed a FFTEC bottom mount on my 07 335i.
Mods are intercooler, cobb, stage 1 inline pump and the kit. I installed this kit so I could make the car more reliable because I have already went through two sets of stockers. I currently only have cobb and do understand that is it not the best for tuning but would like to be able to drive the car until I explore some other tuning options. I went out and logged a couple full throttle runs. I don't know what happened to cylinder number 4 in one of the logs it seems like it went crazy. I currently have a 14 pound spring and the car is in map 0 so i guess 8.5psi. The waste gates bottom port is hooked up directly to the pressure source on the turbo. If anyone can provide me with tuning help and maybe some options for remote tuning please feel free to message me. Thanks |

1. Cobb is dead, move on. 2. Use datazap for your logs if you want people to look at them. 3. No point in getting tuned on cobb just to explore other options and end up getting tuned again. My suggestion is to buy a jb4 and a mac solenoid to get your car drive-able with a backend flash. Should be enough to settle on some tuner/tuning solution in the mean time. |
