Loose inlet questions

I believe I have a loose inlet. Starting a few days ago I heard a strange noise and it has worsened since then. It sounds kind of like a locust or a cricket, or maybe a dolphin. It's just a really fast fluttering chirp sound that changes with engine speed. It happens under any throttle input, and even when coasting. Does this sound like a loose inlet? I've heard the read one can come loose when a DCI is used. If so, is it possible to reach it and push it back on from the top?
