Limp Code / PROcede
Just wondering when you get a limp mode
is the ecu still good ? PROcede runs really strong when it's running like it's suppose to But, for some reason my PROcede is acting up ? Please help me out, it works awesome until now... My other alternative is AA + the AA exhaust, 420 crank hp to bolt ons. And it's only $2,600.00

You need to post specific information about your car if you want help.
Transmission? Octane fuel? Last time you refueled? PROcede firmware version? PROcede map version? How many miles/redline pulls since you changed maps/firmware? What RPM did the limp occur at? Did the limp occur just before or after a shift? Ambient temp when the limp occured? That's the bare minimum. |

More often than not, unexplained and sudden stuff like this is caused by bad fuel. If it was something serious like a splice coming loose, he'd be throwing codes all over the place... |

1) Make sure you have the most up to date Procede Firmware and Map ( make sure you pick the correct transmission)
Go here: http://www.vishnutuningforum.com/for...=2375#post2375 and Download the v2.0 PROcede User Software from: http://www.vishnutuning.com/Files/BM...eader_v2_0.zip 2) Update your Procede, then disconnect your battery for 1hr to reset the ECU. 3) Not sure if you had the V1 before the V2, if so, make sure your boost lines are connected back nice a tight, no leaks. 4) Get some Sunoco Ultra 93 or 91 5) Test by taking some hard pulls from 1-4 to achieve max boost pressure to see if you go limp. If you go limp try this (assuming it you go limp at the high RPMs, you never told us) Quote:
Basically dial down UT settings at 6500 RPM and higher from the 90 default to something lower like 75, 70, 65 etc. until the limp goes away. There was another post on this I could only find the 2 below. Read these posts: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127735 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=129018
