Best bang for my buck for Brakes?
Hey guys,
I am sure this has already been answered before, but I am stuck at work after 14 hours and have a headache and don't feel like searching... forgive me... What would be the best bang for my buck, brakes for a bmw 328i convertible? I don't drive on the track a lot.. but I am definitely not a slow driver.. Any suggestions? Thanks and have a good one.

Centric premium rotors are the best 'blanks' out there IMO.
Zimmerman rotors are also good. Pads are more subjective, many people hate brake dust so they just a ceramic pad... I obviously had dust too, but I like the way the OEM pads feel and bite, so I used OEM textar pads when I did my brakes. Many decent pads out there depending on what you want.

I used centric rotors with akebono pads and after 2 years everything still looked new. No dust and good braking.

None... the rotor doesn't really change stopping distance, the pads do. So since I replaced my pads with OEM pads when I did my front and rear brakes, my brakes feel like they do from the factory.
BMW's blank rotors are nothing special. If you want shorter stopping distances you with want a more aggressive pad... I know Hawk and Stoptech both make good pads for aggressive driving and/or tracking... OEM pads are not track worthy.
