Can someone help me find a 335d
Hey,
I am on the hunt for a 335d in Alpine White or Space Gray. Lowish miles (~60,000). Options I care about M Sport, Harman Kardon, Navigation, and Heated Seats. I can't find a single one in the United States and am running out of time, VW is taking my TDI golf back shortly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Freddie |

I know you're trying to help and I appreciate that but I don't believe one of those is an M-Sport.

Unfortunately - you'll likely need to search through each listing to confirm if they have M-Sport.
Also try Autotrader. |

Freddie,
You are not running out of time. You have 2 years until you have to sell back the VW. You could always move your appointment out. The car is yours until you sell it back to VW. Take your time to find the car you want. I found mine 4 months ago and the VW is our spare, for now. |

One caveat to this point dmanb2b - over the next 2 months, 400,000 former VW TDi owners will be looking for a viable replacement.
BMW is not making any more E90 335d's - and they will become harder to find. I found mine 2 months ago - well before I my docs were even submitted to VW. FVierra27 - be diligent in your search, but do not discount a non M-Sport model if you find a clean and low mileage example. |

Just like all these guys said, don't rush it. There's M-sports out there, I've been looking for the past couple months. They go up for sale and when they do they're usually gone pretty quick. Use cars.com or listingallcars.
And it wont say m sport in the title you'll have to go into the ad and read it or look and see if it has the m sport wheels, bumpers, seats, steering wheel etc. |

FWIW, I really get a lot out of the rear fold down seats. I think that comes in the winter package but is also a stand alone $500 option. The NY craigslist add didn't mention heated seats so may not have the fold down seats. Maybe I missed it.
I wanted M sport too and got it. Now after the fact, I like it but don't like the scrapped front bumper. It is lower than the standard bumper. You don't automatically get shifter paddles with m-sport. Its another $100 option. There is a DIY on here to add the paddles so don't sweat that one. EDIT: I went back to add and it says heated seats so it should have the fold down rear seats. |

To me, the options I had to have were heated seats/cold weather package and sports package. The rear folding seats is as close to a wagon we got with this car and i needed that functionality.
I would have loved an M-sport, but at the same time, I already think I am too low... so, there ya go. M-Sport is def more rare. Either way, can't go wrong and the prices now are ridiculous, wish I had waited, but I did get mine with 17k on the odometer and warranty plus CPO. Prior comments on warranty are on point, I have my emmissions bits, warranty covered nox, scr tank, and some freak rear trunk latch wiring issue. Not on warranty, driver cup holder broke and now my windshield wiper fluid system is gummed.... should have assumed Bmw needed Bmw windshield washer fluid.... lol |

That NY car is very nice. Not sure the price is high or decent. I have bought mine almost 3 years ago for a bit more than that. |

I might consider letting my BPC Stage 1 car go, but it would be at 26k plus....I have everything you are looking for in a 335d with less than 80k on the clock....
Besides the BPC Stage 1, I have modified the fog lights and lights for better night time driving in the PNW. |

Have you tried Autotrader? You can set up a search with those options and get emails when they appear. eBay is good, but not quite as precise on searching for specific options. Sometimes cars.com works.

I'll sell you mine for 22K, been looking for an X5d.
2011 335d Alpine/Dakota Beige with 56k, most of the options you looking for, M sports suspension and steering wheel with shift paddles but no M aerodynamic package. Georgia car now in New England for one year but never driven in snow and rarely driven in rain, car including bottom looks new except a few scratches under the front bumper. |

hmmm...I wonder how much I could sell mine for. Last year I tried to do a trade in for an Accord Touring and they wanted to give me $15k. Frak that! Maybe it was a sign to keep? I just hit 77k miles today. Haha.
Anyway, M-Sport models are super easy to pick out. Just look for the body kit. And pretty much all of them still have their original M-Sport wheels on. In that Car Guru listing above, I found several easily. This one is in Brentwood, CA near me: https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used...ting=157275158 Same color and all, except it doesn't come with the original M wheels. Only thing now is to verify the options you want, HK, etc.

BMW actually put those wheels on some M-sports at the end of production. Rumor has it they ran out of M-sport wheels for the d.
