I love the BMW ownership! #SemiSarcastic
Proud owner of a CPO 2011 335D with 47k. I love this her; torque, mpg, rare Tasmin green with Oyster interior, and my first luxury car.
Right before the holidays, I got my first major warning light! "PULL OVER SAFELY TO THE NEAREST DEALERSHIP! ELECTRICAL FAULT, RESTRAINT SYSTEM bla bla." I was busy with the holidays so I let her sit for two weeks straight. I attempted to take her to the dealership without extended warranty, but I stopped at a buddy's place. Turns out the dead battery cleared whatever code that was, and spat out two codes: P203A, and U1110X. The 203 was cleared but the other is still here. Please tell me I don't have the infamous electrical gremlins European cars are known for. I got rid my 01 VW TDI Jetta because of the alarm kept going off all through the night.

Did you put new battery in? Other remote possibility is the alternator wasn't going due to harmonic damper tearing up. It isn't right time of year to be seeing a damper tear up though. Normally running AC causes this. Your miles are low for a damper to be bad yet too.
Give us a little more info please. |
