i retrofitted cic and combox to my 07 e92. its coded and most options work except voice and navi. i have the repair fsc from the donor cic vin. i also have ista/p and ista emulator but new to coding. can anyone give me some help activating voice and navi. i have all or most coding programs but I've read ista/p was what people are using. i don't have an icom though.

I've just retrofitted my E92 with the CIC as well, if its a donor unit you wont be able to activate the nav unless you have an emulator hard wired to bypass the vin check from the cas

The only way other than that is to script the nav but then its a pain to update the maps

Some people are able to generate a specific FSC code to your vin but its expensive.

From what I've learnt, you want NCS expert to change VO without letting ISTA-P near it! Once the CIC gets flashed then you could be seeing the unit at a specialists due to not being able to access FSC codes. Just finished mine yesterday and left my ICOM in the boot and used NCS between me and a friend.

darren, you just lost me. lol i have the repair fsc codes for the donor cic but not for my cars vin. I've tried two different emulators from eBay and they cause the unit to flicker. I'm lost right now. i just want my navi and voice control to work. if anybody can point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.

When I connected the emulator on mine I had a few issues but it turned out to be a bad connection in the harness I'd check that first, its unlikely 2 seperate emulators will flicker
