One-Stop-Electronics K-DCAN Faulty
I recently purchased a new K-DCAN cable from the "golden trusted source" everyone raves about. I cannot get it to work on any car. I have an older cable from Amazon that works on my E46 M3 but not a 2009 128i or 2010 M3....that's expected, no big deal. But this $99 cable won't work at all.
Anyone else ever get a dud from One-Stop-Electronics?

One of my cables from One Stop failed about 8 months after purchase. They have a 6 month warranty but warrantied the cable after the expiration anyway.
But plus one for checking driver installation. |

Yes drivers are perfect.
I'm sending it back for a refund and getting an ICOM A2 instead. I work on everything so I need reliable versatility.

As Levanime says, clones of ICOM A2 can be bad. Most are ICOM A1 inside the A2 box.
Why no buy the ICOM Next from your dealer? Is reasonably priced, will have warranty and yo can sell it when you are done. It's actually cheaper than ICOM A2 (genuine). |
