SoCal-Tucson & back - 2 days, 1000 miles love this car

Nothing much here guys (and a few gals) just bragging on our cars...

So another road trip that the 435GC sits (love the GC but not as much as the D) - and the D gets to stretch its legs - 1016 miles over 2 days Orange County (SoCal) to Tucson and Back - up and down long inclines, big open stretches of desert, rain, fog (used my euro fog light mod), sleet, 85 F temp down t0 30F....single lanes at 40 mph behind big rigs, around town driving (Tucson), open highway cruising at 100 and blasts to more than that and open stretches with the cruise at 80...31MPG (aprox) overall over the 1000 miles....comfortable, composed, powerful, strong....what a car!! (ps I'm 45 and this is my 13 BMW and my favorite by far...other than my E30 M3...that I should have never sold but I was in my 20's and didn't know any better)...also loving my new Conti DSW06's...just replaced my last set and for my type of driving they are perfect

Now just have a big wash job in front of me tomorrow - but that'll be a labor of love

ps - to those that are wondering - orange county - phoenix - Tucson - Yuma - Calexico - San Diego - Home....one big 1000mile circle

Fun. Nothing better than a diesel journey.

Yes, best road trip cars ever. As long as you don't get a flat.

Too funny and too true...not kidding I had two BMW mobility kits in the trunk (I always have one back there but grabbed the second one that I keep in the GC) now I realize that won't solve catastrophic problems...but "should" be able to take care of "most"
