It's not a poll dude, something happened. If it was I would 100% vote for Shell 93.

I switched from a non-top tier 93 octane gasoline to Shell 93 octane V-power.

To my surprise, I could actually feel the difference.

+1 on chevron 91. thats about as good as it gets here in so cal. i put shell v-power in my car one time, and must have gotten bad gas because my car went into a limp mode i had no power at all! i was freaking out! i went and put chevron 91 in and everything went back to normal.

by the way does anyone know why we here in california don't recieve higher than 91? i mean we have more exotic cars here than anywhere else in the country.

thats precisely why...more exotic cars with huge displacements and bad mileage. stricter emissions control? though there's a shell (or 76?) with some octane 93? 95? on newport coast drive inbetween uci and pch. im guessing that ones for all the high rollers up in mt olympus (ie. kobe lives there).

still chevron has never failed me with good gas and its still 20-30 cents cheaper per gal than shell or 76.

kind of a weird poll because not everyone would know what its like. because out here in TX we have all the different major ones in 93 oct. shell, chevron, exxon, texaco, mobil, but we dont have sunaco? but from what i see is that its a 94 octane. well im sure if you have a tune. the higher the octane the more your gonna be able to get out of the car. so i mean for someone in cali whose got a mod running on 91 OCT theyre not gonna be able to get as much as the guy running 94 OCT with the exact same mod, so im sure if its not some JOE BLOW gas station, the higher the octane the better.
