USB retorfit

I have a 2011 E92 xdrive. The car has Bluetooth, USB in glove box and aux port in center console. I want to add the USB in the center console, is this possible?

Do you have idrive or pro radio ?
There are several things you can do .
If you have idrive you can do a combox retrofit this will add
usb and streaming bluetooth a2dp music.
If you have pro radio only usb is possible as far as I know with
with a mulf 2 hi.
Aftermarket there is the Dension gateway 500s blue tooth that adds
usb and streaming music.

You can DIY the OEM stuff if you are willing to learn to code or can find
a coder . There are also some companys that do this like Bimmeretrofits and Bimmertech. What you need in terms of
hardware can varry depending on whats in the car already.

Thanks for the quick reply! I have IDrive CIC with navi and combox already factory installed. I'm sure I can get joe@topgear to code it but I wanted to know what other hardware I would need.

If you already have the combox the hardware should be minimal
basically the cabling and maybe a bluetooth antenna if you don't have one.
Your coder should be able to help you with it.
There are quite a few threads on the combox upgrade or retrofit
Try

or search for combox here.
