DCT Service N55 335i
So I'd like to do a dct service on my car. Wondering if anyone has part numbers for the fluid, pan, gasket, filter and any other info I might need. Where did you purchase your things from and did you need a bmw computer to get all the fluid out (I've read only 60% drains out with gravity)
All help will be appreciated Thanks! EDIT PART NUMBERS Fluid Pentosin DCTF-1 FFL-4 Last edited by aaron_; 03-22-2017 at 04:06 AM.. |

Will be calling Sylvania bmw tomorrow and will post what I find
I have a leak from my pan (looks like, hope it's not the mechatronics sleeve), and harsh shifts from 1st-2nd. Also had trans temp warning 2 or 3 times after spirited driving (on a track of course) so its definitely time for a service |

Does this work? Fcp euro says no on the webiste (doesn't fit), but they emailed me saying it does, so I emailed them again to confirm. what about the filters? Are they part of the pan? Also, fcp euro says it services GS7D36SG and real oem says I have that gearbox so I guess it will work? Hmmmmm Last edited by aaron_; 03-22-2017 at 05:59 PM.. |

This kit offers the mechatronic sleeve and all the items required to complete the task. The CTSC only sell OEM ZF components. The filter is part of the pan and also there is two magnets which are for particulate matter. There is no way to completely remove all of the fluid as some will remain inside the Torque converter. As you said, about 60-70% of fluid will be drained via the sump plug. The amount will be dependent upon any losses the system incurred. Plenty of DIY threads. |
