JB4 won't save certain settings
I just recently installed the N54 on my 07 335i. I've been going through the different menus and adjusting all the settings to my preference. I can't, however, seem to save the settings for certain options. I have no trouble saving the map and the shift light but for some reason when I move to 4 on the speedo and try and change the rpm tach to anything else it never saves my selection. The same problem occurs when I move to 5 on the speedo and try and move the rpm tach to 7 so that I enable the gauge sweep. I go to 5 and then move it to 7, then I switch the speedo back down to 4. But when I go back to 5 it hasn't saved and the rpm tach sits at 0. Am I doing something wrong? It's driving me crazy.

You are misunderstanding how things are selected. For on/off toggles selecting it toggles it from on to off or off to on, and the menu will always return to 0 when going back regardless of the state of that particular setting. Only certain critical settings on specific menus are identified each time the menu is opened.
