Just thinking to do all the brushed metal trims in the interior.
I may go the diy route then I'm just concerned of removing all the trim bits and puting them back |

Removing trim is easy, bit of learning the first time.
I don't like wrapping personally mine didn't work well, after some hot days it seemed to move and on the air con vent holes it came out and looked shit, not sure how people stop that. I ended up painting but that's a bigger commitment lol |

Hardest part of removing trim is the dash strip. If you are in Melb swing by and I can show you how it's done. You can also get it done in real CF in the USA but it's its about a $2k mod (with postage) You can check it out in my build thread

Carbon fibre look vinyl wrap was a diabolical experience for me too
Tempted to rip off and use good old plastidip. With the gluey left overs from the vinyl can one use soapy water to remove? |

If you can spare it, get a pro shop to quote you on sanding down, painting and clear coating all of it. A nice thick hard clear coat is what you want over the colour you choose. Then you can polish it too like the exterior paint. A few hundred bucks maybe and it could look awesome. Cheaper than real carbon fibre, better than a home paint job, and way better than vinyl that can turn to shit months later.

Would need to take the car off the road for a few days though, I painted mine one part at a time so never off the road. and I also have a second set because I have a full CF set that i have been swapping out for painted.

Nope, but you have things hanging like the push start button and door lock thing. I drove for a week with no front dash.
I haven't driven with the center console ie shiftier trim removed before though. Would probably be fine.
