Help needed Dension 500 Most removal

Hi Everyone,

Recently purchased a pre lci e92 and it had Dension 500 Most in it. Seller informed me that due to battery being taken out of the car (it was taken for testing) the Dension lost it's coding and that's why i was receiving SOS error. In order to solve it he advised that i could either get it coded in again or i could just take it out and it should work fine.

Since i do not own an iphone or any apple product i deemed it pointless to pay for it to get coded as i will just use AUX cable to play music form my Android, therefore ended up unplugging it...

I am a potato in electronics and i am not sure what to do with the loose cables left behind and where should they go.. I have attached a picture of the glove box compartment below.

Thanks for any advice/help

It should have a usb port that will allow you to take your
music collection with you on usb. I would try to get it working.

Those are only cables you are showing where it the
actual unit see dension site.

didn't get a notification that someone replied...

the actual unit is in a box after i unplugged and removed it was not sure what to do with cables. Hmm thought i won't be able to control the music through driving wheel as i have an Android and doesn't matter if it's Dension?

Also would require to get it coded..

Go to the coding board and ask but
it works through the cd cassete changer port and I though
the only thing you really needed coding wise was the cd cassete
changer programmed in.
You need the 500s Bt to do wireless A2DP the 500 only does usb
bluetooth phone and has a aux.
The steering wheel contols work through the Dension . What it does as far as working with your phone is limited by the model number of the Dension see the Dension website for details.
