Coding flat level non-EQ signal from Business NAV
Hi all,
I have been reading the internet for days to do this but I cannot succeed. So I need some help, this is the "hardware": 2007 E87 LCI with business i-drive navigation (SA606) (no tweeters in the A pillar, no factory amp, so only base sound system) What I want is to install an aftermarket amplifier and better speakers in the front. My only problem is to get line level and flat, unbalanced signal from the HU. This is what I tried so far: - adding $676 to FA, into CAS and NFRM (that is OK, I have done coding before, these two modules store the FA in my case) - then I did an empty recoding on the MASK which made the headunit/navigation to reboot, then I closed the car for hours Problem: no changes in the sound level nor in the EQ settings Only thing changed is the MASK setting, now if I read out the MASK module with NCS, in the FSW_PSW file I can see that values from E87_stereo changed to E87_hifi at many cases (see snippet of the file in the end of this post). Now what should I do ![]() Is there any other module I should re-code? (There is no CAPPL, CAUDI etc. as this is business nav, not CCC or CIC) Should I try to modify these e87_hifi to e87_flat at some places? I tried to remove $606 from the FA, but that removed MASK from the module list where I can choose modules for coding in NCSexpert. I tried it though but there were no changes in the sound.) Any other idea I can try? Thanks a lot for your help goldie Edit: I know that I posted this in the E90 forum, but hifi and coding wise I think it is the same as for the series 1. new setting: FILTER_FZG_BLOCK_1 e87_hifi e90_hifi e70_hifi pl2_hifi e93_hifi e92_hifi FILTER_FZG_BLOCK_2 e87_hifi e90_hifi e70_hifi pl2_hifi e93_hifi e92_hifi FILTER_FZG_BLOCK_3 e87_hifi e90_hifi e70_hifi pl2_hifi e93_hifi e92_hifi FILTER_FZG_BLOCK_4 e87_hifi e90_hifi pl2_hifi e93_hifi e92_hifi e88_stereo PHASE_BLOCK e60_hifi e87_stereo_old e87_hifi e90_hifi e60_flat e90_stereo e70_stereo e70_hifi e91_stereo pl2_hifi e93_hifi e92_hifi e71_stereo e71_hifi e82_stereo e88_stereo CROSS_OVER_1 e70_hifi e87_hifi e90_hifi pl2_hifi e93_hifi e92_hifi e71_hifi CROSS_OVER_2 e70_hifi e87_hifi e90_hifi pl2_hifi e93_hifi e92_hifi OUTPUT_GAIN_SYSTEM e70_hifi e87_hifi e60_flat e90_hifi pl2_hifi e93_hifi NIVI nicht_aktiv VOLUME_MAXIMUM_ON standard min2 e93_hifi e92_hifi e70_hifi VOLUME_AUDIO_1 e87 e70 e92_stereo VOLUME_MINIMUM_NAVI min1 e87_hifi e90_hifi Last edited by goldiee36; 06-29-2017 at 02:33 AM.. The thread above is for the pro nav and pro radio . There are more modules that must be programmed in the Nav. Don't know if the business nav is programmable or if the sub modules are different . Entry 13 in the above thread is where the sub modules are mentoned |

Hi,
yes I've been there.. the problem is that those modules belong to the pro navigation. I do not have any of those modules as I have business navigation. The main module for the business navigation is the MASK, which is programmable and I did the coding. I have no idea if there any other sub modules. I guess this is the main question ![]() |
