Key FOB Replacement Question
Hey guys,
This weekend I got my key fob wet, and I guess it damaged the key because the unlock/lock button no longer works, however I am able to enter the car with the physical steel key and start the car once the key is placed in the ignition. I know BMW charges a lot for a key replacement, are there any other options? Locksmith? ect? The car is a 2008 BMW 335i Coupe. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Find locksmith near you by Google or business listing websites. I would like to recommend you if you live in Tampa Than Any Car Key Made is a better option for you

2 tips:
1. There are some dealers that offer a parts discount if you have membership to some BMW groups (registration free for at least one such group). I think my fob only was $175 after discount a few years ago. 2. You can order the fob only, without insert, and save yourself $75-100 or so. The discounts I'm aware of: Pfaff, town and country: BMW true north VIP Maranello, Endras: MaxB
