My e92 330d now sold

So after a pleasant 2 years with the e92 330d i was disappointed at the response to my sale ads on ebay/autotrader and gumtree.

Car was sold to a local trader who managed to sell within a few days.

I am very hard pressed to find a replacement that will heal the wound of the fond memories.

I did have a brand new audi s5 sportback on order (lease) but the cancelled on me after over a month wait due to emissions issues with audi halting production.

Anyway... got myself a cheap and cheerful runaround which i must admit gets rid of all the stresses of owning an enthusiast car - park anywhere, no need to check for dinks etc

Iv challenged myself to keep hold of it for a while as dont really need anything more in reality (cough cough... thats what iv told the mrs for now)

Obviously i have been looking at the older s5 sportback, rs5, and favouring the e90 m3 but reluctant as interior will feel too familiar

Watch this space...

E90 M3 is an amazing car and ticks many boxes. Awesome sound too!

Now that you have a run around ... you are in the perfect position to just wait for a car that has had thousands spent on it by the previous owner.

That is what I would do.

Somebody out there will be getting rid for one reason or another and you can just sweep in and buy it. There is no rush. Carry on driving the run around till that opportunity presents itself.

I am accustomed to the runaround however need to meet landlords etc regularly for work and it will only be a matter of time the car will have to go

I hear you. I'm in the process of selling my e92 and I have my runaround lined up - my old 2002 Mk4 GTi which I never got rid of. I'm actually really looking forward to the low-maintenance and lack of hassle that will come with it

Don't feel to worried about the M3 interior felling familiar. After you have heard that V8 sing all other factors are irrelevant. It is a masterpiece. Finding an E90 will be tricky however.
