Which Audio Processor for E90?

Hello everyone,
I have been reading posts on installing an amp to power speakers on my E90. I currently have a 2011 328i, the car came with a base stereo system and i do not plan to re-code the HU in order for the amp to work properly, but i do plan on buying a processor instead. I have read that the JL Cleansweep CL441DSP is a good option, but when i look for it, the wesbite shows that the processor has been discontinued and replaced by the JL FiX 82 and JL FiX 86. Would these processors work for the installation? if so, which one should i get?. If not, should i stick with the older product?. My plan is to install the JL XD600/6v2 with the technic PNP harness. Any advice would help. Thank you everyone

If you are going to get true DSP I would go with Helix products.
Very popular here and well supported through the forums.

They have excellent stand alone and DSP/amp products.

The 82dsp has been pretty popular here and is what Bimmertech and
Bavsound use basicly remarketed with a tune and support hardware.

I believe that one of the fix products is a flattener
and the other is a dsp . They seem to indicate you need to use both on the JL site.

The bimmertech version is suppose to be a great plug and play option. They include a tune and harness. No matter what you do you need to upgrade the under seats and at least the front door speakers.

The DSP 6 and V8 by Helix have are a more watts per channel options.

Wow thank you for the reply, I currently will be upgrading to bavsound speakers and subwoofers, But have not had the chance to install them. I asked bavsound about amping the speakers and they said it's possible and suggested the most famous option (JL XD600/6). I just want to get everything right before ordering things and taking them to the audio shop. I went to the bimmertech website, I'm guessing they provide everything else I need besides the speakers. Which is not a bad option if I do not want to search for everything separately.

The bimmertech setup is about as plug and play as you can get
with the base system plus there is some support for aftermarket
speaker tunes which some people may need if they are not in
to tuning a DSP.
I would talk to Bimmertech so you understand it
all .

email Nelson@BimmerTech

be aware that you have to ask for the base system upgrade not the Hi Fi upgrade.( I would say look at entry 141 but that damm picture hosting shit comes up again but you should at least read the thread)

Or give me a call/shoot a message. We do these regularly and are only about 35-45mins from you.

This. If you are buying bavsound you are not on the right track except for a basic upgrade.

If you are lucky to be that close to wisteria, go see don.
