Wacha mean Brule? do you mean just buy a Walbro and fit it in the bucket ourselves?

If so where would you buy one from?

I'm very busy.
Google around you'll find it.

No need to pay $500.

Just walbro 460 pump from car mods Australia is $192

Did some reading, there's some contention on whether its a good idea to replace the pump like this becaise it doesn't use the venturi, which "could" cause some fuel starvation issues

There was also a DIY to add an inline pump rather than replace the bucket pump

anyone with technical knowledge of the fuel supply able to comment on pros and cons of the two options? and the likelihood of starvation issues

the fuelit kit is reported to have a modified venturi to suit the extra flow of the 450

there was also a boost concepts DIY kit, but its 299USD plus 45USD shipping, whch is probably too close to the fuelit price for the extra hassle, it dows use the venturi though

If you don't have Pi and bigger turbos you just need an extra 255 pump or a 460 pump with the bucket.

If you have Pi a bucket less 460 pump will make more power than with a 460 pump in s bucket. The dynos and logs look like 50 or so more hp.

The risk with bucket less is having a filter not getting fuel up in certain situations.
For example low fuel and hard cornering or launching creating air in your fuel line.
There are filters that lay on the bottom of the tank that are supposed to defeat this from happening but they are about 300+us just for the filter.

Keep it simple.
If on stock turbos just get a 460 in bucket. ( I still like the inline 255 as it's worked for me for 3-4 years on e mixes)

Bigger turbos you need Pi before a bigger lpfp will give you any gains.
Then get a 460 bucket less setup with a good filter or a stage 3 setup if you want a Venturi.

I just saw that my LPFP is struggling with my current power levels so need to invest in some fueling. Where did you mount the inline Brule ? Ive done this exact mod to other cars in the past but these new fangled beemers have me spooked. Any suggestions for wiring tap out etc ? Im just running stock snails and no ethanol so it should be more than adequate.
