What bumper options do I have for my 335i?
My 335xi Sedan got hit and my front bumper is ruined, insurance is covering everything they gave me 1k to get it fixed, but I wanna go with something different not with the old stock bumper. My car goal/ project is blacking everything, almost exactly to the picture below, what are some options? [IMG][/IMG]

M tech front w/ akrym style front limp get's my vote...but I am partial. M3 should be on an M3.

I just put on a m3 rep bumper on my car. Looks way more aggressive and no one that knows cars will mistake it for an m3. M3s all had the e92 front end and the fender grills. Also the m3 front has the largest center opening so the intercooler isn't blocked at all.

Since you have a e90 lci, I suggest you get a m sport bumper with some splitters. The m3 style bumper just doesn't look right on an e90 imo. It looks good on the e92 since they have the same front end as an actual M3.

M4 replica front bumper, 1M replica front bumper, M3 rep. (as previously stated), M-Tech front (as previously stated), or no bumper at all All depends on how much you're willing to spend

You can delete the fog lights with the IS black lower grills and brake ducts on the MSport front bumper.

I would go with the 1M or Mtech IMO. I have the M3 rep and I love it, just the splitter/lip selection sucks, much better selection on the other two.

Go m3 and do the rear while your at it. They have to get paint. They might as well get just a little more for the rear bumper.
ECS Tuning has good prices for both. |

The first image is a base bumper with Aero lip. A M Sport bumper with lip would look classic and clean. The traditionalists frown upon an M3 replica on a Non-M car unless you do both bumpers, fenders and hood for the complete look. I hope this all black trend is coming to an end, it lacks contrast and I blame it on the Fast and Furious franchise. My E92 came with the Aero lip when I bought it used.

The Mtech is super lame and everyone has it. (which kind of defeats the purpose of customizing your car) The only others are M3 rep, 1M rep, amuse and m4 rep for LCI.
Unfortunately there aren't many options available for this platform. I am also in the market for a new bumper and am pretty disappointed in the whole situation.
