Brushed Graphite is BACK!!!

Found someone who was able to get their hands on this, and did a very impressive wrap job. If anyone is interested, let me know - happy to pass on the contact info.

FWIW this material is not cheap

PM'd! Here's his website for anyone interested:
https://www.rmwraps.com

I don't get anything from referrals, just thought he was an awesome guy to work with and really appreciated that he kept in touch. The work looks great. And I was pretty thrilled he was able to get this material.

I'll share some updates once I get it back and installed.

That's the same color I wrapped my trim in, love it.

That's just 3M 1080 Brushed Steel. It is not that expensive really. Here's mine that I wrapped myself.

Trust me it is NOT brushed steel. But close enough. Probably just as expensive though.

Are you actually referring to 3m 1080 Brushed Black Metallic? I'm still fairly certain that what you are referring to is Brushed Steel from your photo, because it's definitely not black and 3m doesn't have a "graphite" in the Brushed vinyls. Color chart attached for reference. I don't do wraps professionally, but trust me, I've used a lot of the 3m vinyls extensively.

I actually wish that they would have something between the Steel and Black Brushed vinyls.

Believe it's ME-379; I can't tell from that photo and can't find the name elsewhere online. I've heard it frequently referred to as brushed graphite, but I suppose it's possible that isn't 100% correct. Either way I like it!

Garage List
Is this just a vinyl wrap? If it is I’ll pass

Fibonacci is correct, check out this older thread that I contributed to. I purchased this 3M brushed graphite vinyl in the past.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=648851

It was a discontinued Di-Noc vinyl, compared to the 1080 vinyl like Brushed Steel. The 1080 series was specifically created for more complex surfaces (like cars) and as such, is much easier to work with. The Di-Noc has been around for much longer and was not originally marketed for vehicle wraps, so you would never find the Brushed Graphite in the same color sample offerings like the photo you posted.
