UDM with wax

Just ordered an Ultimate Detailing Machine (can't wait ). I was wondering if you can use it with a paste wax (S100). If not I'll use it with my Z2 Pro but I was hoping it's ok to use it with the wax too.

Sure...you can use it for whatever LSP you want....Be careful because you may waste alot of product doing it that way...I found that I did so I just do LSP's now by hand. You got the UMD just to help apply lsp (wax or sealants)?

Most people buy them to remove swirls...

Well I bought it primarily for my sealant and wax but I will use it on my parents' cars to remove swirls as well. No swirls on my car thank god

I don't have a UDM, but I have a Flex, and I think it works pretty well for applying the LSP. Mostly, I've just applied LSP by hand, but I've used the Flex at speed 2 to do this a couple of times. Use the UDM at a low speed with a blue pad and apply the wax thin and evenly. I've used it with paste wax and it worked fine.

Slowly melt your wax and fill an empty deoderant stick with the wax. Let it harden. You can now lightly spread the paste wax onto a pad. I got this tip from another member and have done it to all my natty waxes.

Too much work for a cheap wax if you ask me.
