I don't have a UDM, but I have a Flex, and I think it works pretty well for applying the LSP. Mostly, I've just applied LSP by hand, but I've used the Flex at speed 2 to do this a couple of times. Use the UDM at a low speed with a blue pad and apply the wax thin and evenly. I've used it with paste wax and it worked fine.

Slowly melt your wax and fill an empty deoderant stick with the wax. Let it harden. You can now lightly spread the paste wax onto a pad. I got this tip from another member and have done it to all my natty waxes.
