LED LCI e92 Coupe Tail Lights eBay Deal/Error
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-2010-B...9Y6IZV&vxp=mtr
I used the "Make Offer" feature and paid 275 + 25 CA tax + Free shipping Just received and installed a set of these on my 09 335i Coupe. Product looks nice and install went easily enough. The sale included the load resistor equipped adapters for plug and play installation between the old and new harness connector types. Tested all the lights and they appear to work fine with normal rate of blinking on signals, but I am getting the error symbol for lights on the dash. Is coding the best or only option I have to get rid of the error? Is anyone aware of a way to simulate/parallel the expected resistance load from an incandescent bulb through the wires without having to code? Last edited by pilotstephen; 12-28-2017 at 11:09 PM.. |

Yup you have to code the bulb checks out. Not sure why you'd go through the trouble of hacking up wires to put resistors in when a very simple and straight forward modification of your FRM's software is all that's needed (and fully reversible).

the resistance only serves to prevent the arrow from flashing quickly.
if you do coding, you do not have to put any resistance, and I delete the car lights check. so codify you have to do |
