Any reputable detailers in Norcal?

I still have not found a very good independent detailer here in NorCal. With several in SoCal who are active on these forums, you would think there would be at least one here in the bay area. I did take my car to the detailing shop in Sunnyvale - Detail Plus. And though he does solid work, the swirls and light scratches have reappeared after several washes. Even though I told him in several occassions to polish these off permanately....

Note that I did find a few on craigslist, but haven't been able to confirm if they are reputable...

Check this post on other forums, (PS: I don't know them so use your own judgement, though $150 for polish + wax, wow)

Thnx, I know AJ's quite well. And although there are many who think AJ's is top notch, I have not had very good experiences with them.

AJ detail is good. Probably the best around the bay. Too bad all the good detailers are in Socal.

LRG Norcal is in Sacramento. I don't know where he is now, but I plan to pay him some visits when I get up there to share some tips!

Anyways, adbmw335, if we can't work out something between now and the 16th, I strongly recommend you to http://www.detailaddict.com/

This guy's work is top notch, but he can be a bit pricey.

My ex-roommate takes his Audi A4 to AJ's every 1-2 months for the $150(?) detail. He really likes them, and I've heard excellent reviews from others.

However, none of the feedback were from detailing enthusiasts, so I've always wondered if they're really doing swirl removals at that price, or just hiding imperfections?
