Rattle in Convertible top????
Any e93 owners been experiencing a persistant rattle in the the hardtop on the passenger side near the rear? It sounds like a loose spring and is evident on coarse pavement (ie: freeway).
Mine has been in for service 2 times, each time the tech says its a spring and they insulate it to keep it from rattling. However, after about 2 weeks it will return. Anyone else experiencing this??? |

Try these service bulletins. Type in the URL of bulletin desired. Makes you wonder if HARD top is way to go. Only 2 bulletins on e64 since SOP in MY04.

Thanks, I'll check those out. And in regards to hardtop v. soft. I still prefer the hardtop, that is the only reason I bought the car. Sure it is more technical and prone to problems but for where I live it is really the only way you can own a convert.
