hi

i have a E90 2008 (318D ES) registration. it has the default halogen yellowish lights. I need suggestion on white lights?

does it have to be Xenon? I don't know how easy it is to upgrade to Xenon. I tried google search couldn't get any useful information

HIDs and LEDs are both doable but this:

Also, depending on where you are, it may also fail any routine tests/checks.

Also, remember with our cars it's not as simple as just swopping out the bulbs if you go down the LED or HID route, you'll either need a kit specifically designed to work with the system BMW uses or have to do some coding.

You can go HID or LED.

Today's LED can actually be up to 2X brighter then HID, pretty cool.

Actually with the right LED kit it has the same beam pattern as Halogen. Although I know where you are coming from on this remark, technology does improve quite often. Of course picking the right LED upgrade is important and I want to make that clear. Not all LED options are created =
